Le Marais Shopping
Le Marais — Fashion, Boutiques & Shopping in Paris
Spread across the 3rd and 4th arrondissements, Le Marais is one of the most varied shopping districts in Paris, combining French and international fashion, independent boutiques, emerging labels, vintage, beauty, jewellery, design and specialist shops within a dense network of historic streets.
Begin around Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, Rue Vieille-du-Temple and Rue des Archives for some of the district’s strongest concentrations of fashion and beauty, then explore the smaller surrounding streets for independent labels, accessories, jewellery, vintage and design. BHV Marais, beside Hôtel de Ville, adds a major department store to the neighbourhood’s much broader mix of shops.
Continue north into the Haut Marais, where fashion, interiors, galleries and contemporary design mix with food shops, restaurants and cafés. Around Rue de Bretagne, the neighbourhood becomes particularly strong for food, markets and independent addresses, creating a different shopping experience from the busier streets further south.
Shopping is only part of the Marais experience. Galleries, historic architecture, museums, courtyards, restaurants and cafés are interwoven throughout the district, with Musée Picasso and Place des Vosges easy to combine with a day of browsing.
Explore Le Marais with TLC Paris for fashion, independent boutiques, vintage, beauty, design, food, galleries and culture — and discover the different shopping clusters hidden within one of Paris’s most walkable neighbourhoods.
