Eiffel Tower View - 7th Arrondissement

Home to the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars and Les Invalides, the 7th Arrondissement of Paris contains some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, but there is considerably more to explore beyond its famous monuments. Stretching along the Left Bank of the Seine, the arrondissement combines major museums, elegant residential streets, food shopping, restaurants, architecture and some of the most prestigious addresses in Paris.

Begin around the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars, then explore the streets around École Militaire and Rue Cler for bakeries, fromageries, food shops, cafés and restaurants. Continue towards Les Invalides and the Musée Rodin, or follow the Seine towards the Musée d’Orsay and the cultural landmarks closer to Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Away from the major sights, the 7th reveals a quieter residential side of the Left Bank, with embassies, historic architecture, boutiques, antiques, interiors and specialist shops scattered through its streets. Its position between the Seine, Saint-Germain and the Eiffel Tower also makes it particularly rewarding to explore on foot.

Explore the 7th Arrondissement with TLC Paris to discover landmarks, museums, food, restaurants, shopping, architecture and elegant Left Bank streets — from internationally known Paris icons to neighbourhood addresses worth knowing nearby.
