Surreal Lens Artistic interpretation of a real place.
T’XUAN is one of Paris’s most refined modern tea salons, blending Taiwanese and Hong Kong tea culture with the precision and elegance of French pâtisserie. Founded by Yuelin Cui, the salon has become a discreet destination for those who appreciate contemporary Asian desserts, rare teas, and delicate French technique in one setting.
Rather than following traditional French tearoom conventions, T’XUAN offers a more editorial, sensory-driven experience — where jasmine, matcha, oolong, lychee, mango and rose are treated with the same respect as classic French pastry ingredients. The result is a menu that feels light, modern, and quietly luxurious.
Signature creations include matcha panna cotta, mango–pomelo cream, tapioca and herbal jellies, and airy mille-crêpes infused with rose and lychee, alongside a carefully curated collection of iced teas, milk teas, infusions, and rare loose-leaf teas inspired by Hong Kong tea houses and Taiwanese tea rituals.
Located in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, near the Grands Boulevards, T’XUAN sits between the worlds of fashion, culture and gastronomy, making it a natural stop for those exploring concept stores, theaters, cafés and boutiques in the area.
This is not a traditional afternoon-tea palace, nor a simple dessert café — T’XUAN is a modern tea salon for contemporary Paris, where East-Asian tea culture meets French dessert artistry in a refined, intimate atmosphere
