Paris Airport Arrivals & Transport Guide

TLC PARIS NOTES
Start Here
Paris has two main airports for most visitors: Charles de Gaulle and Orly. The easiest option depends on luggage, arrival time and where you are staying.
CDG to Paris
RER B is often the fastest budget option into central Paris. A taxi or private driver is easier with luggage, children or late arrivals.
Orly to Paris
Orly is closer to central Paris than CDG. Depending on your address, metro, taxi or private transfer can all be practical choices.
Taxi Prices
Official airport taxis have fixed prices by French law between Paris and the airports.
Prices: 56€ to the Right Bank (Rive Droite) and 65€ to the Left Bank (Rive Gauche). Always use the official taxi line, not drivers approaching inside the terminal.

At CDG, official taxi signs can be easy to miss after arrivals. Follow the marked taxi signs toward the ground floor and official exits.
Ticket Note
Airport journeys require separate airport tickets for CDG and Orly routes. Tickets can also be purchased through the official Bonjour RATP app before boarding.
TLC Tip
Many Paris métro stations include long stairways and limited elevator access. With heavy luggage, taxis or direct airport transfers can sometimes be the more comfortable option.

Transport routes, ticket systems, airport guidance & taxi prices may change over time. Always confirm final details before travelling.
