Maison Courtot | Parisian Bespoke Shirtmaking on Rue de Rennes

Founded in 1962 by Edouard Courtot, Maison Courtot is a renowned Parisian atelier dedicated to the timeless art of bespoke shirtmaking. Located at 113 Rue de Rennes in the 6th arrondissement, this family-run workshop has been crafting shirts that define Saint-Germain-des-Prés elegance for more than sixty years.

What began as Edouard Courtot’s passion for men’s fashion evolved into a legacy of precision and style. Trained by his mother, he returned to bespoke shirtmaking in 1966, establishing a name synonymous with quality and discretion. Today, his son Cydonia Courtot continues this tradition, blending classical techniques with a modern sense of fit and fabric.

With over 5,000 fine fabrics sourced from Switzerland, Italy, England, and Turkey, the atelier offers an unmatched selection for every occasion. From formal shirts to custom nightwear and dinner pieces, each garment is made with meticulous attention to proportion and finish. Maison Courtot also provides services such as cuff and collar replacements, ensuring lasting comfort and style.

Surrounded by the cafés and charm of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, visitors can stroll from Café de Flore to Les Deux Magots, or pause by Hotel Lutetia after visiting Maison Courtot—an address where craftsmanship and Parisian refinement quietly endure.
