La Parisienne – Award-Winning Paris Bakery Famous for Signature Baguettes & French Pastries

La Parisienne is a Parisian boulangerie known for traditional bread, viennoiserie and pâtisserie, with a network of seven boutiques across the capital. Founded around a commitment to artisan baking, quality ingredients and classic French technique, the house became particularly celebrated after baker Mickaël Reydellet won the 2016 Grand Prix de la Baguette de Tradition Française de la Ville de Paris. Its signature baguette, “La Parisienne,” remains at the heart of the bakery’s identity.

Today, La Parisienne can be found in several very different Paris neighbourhoods. In the historic centre, the Les Halles boutique at 21 Rue des Halles sits close to Châtelet, Rue de Rivoli and the lively Les Halles district. On the Left Bank, the bakery has addresses at 52 Boulevard Saint-Germain and 48 Rue Madame, placing it within easy reach of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Latin Quarter and the Luxembourg Gardens. Explore Boulevard Saint-Germain or continue along Rue Madame for cafés, boutiques and classic Left Bank atmosphere.

Other Paris locations extend the bakery across the city: 19 Rue d’Odessa near Montparnasse, 21 Rue de Lyon close to Gare de Lyon, 12 Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière in the 10th arrondissement, and 85 Rue Saint-Dominique in the 7th arrondissement. The Gare de Lyon address is particularly convenient for visitors travelling through the eastern side of Paris, while Rue Saint-Dominique places La Parisienne close to the Eiffel Tower, Invalides and the food shops and cafés of the 7th arrondissement.

Across its boutiques, the emphasis remains firmly on French boulangerie tradition. The signature baguette de tradition is joined by rustic breads, croissants, pains au chocolat, brioches and a changing selection of pâtisserie. Depending on the season, visitors may also find fruit tarts, éclairs, Paris-Brest, galettes and other familiar French classics prepared for everyday breakfasts, afternoon treats and special occasions.

La Parisienne’s appeal lies in this balance between craftsmanship and neighbourhood accessibility. Rather than being tied to a single luxury district, its boutiques form a small network across central Paris, allowing visitors to encounter the bakery while exploring very different parts of the city — from Les Halles and Saint-Germain to Montparnasse, Gare de Lyon and the Eiffel Tower area.

For visitors planning a bakery route through Paris, the different La Parisienne addresses can easily be combined with nearby markets, cafés, shopping streets and landmarks. A Saint-Germain visit can continue toward Café de Flore, Les Deux Magots or the Luxembourg Gardens; Les Halles connects naturally with Rue Montorgueil and the Louvre area; while the Gare de Lyon boutique can be paired with Bastille, the Coulée Verte and the wider 12th arrondissement.

With seven Paris boutiques, La Parisienne offers several ways to discover its breads and pastries while exploring the city. Check the official boutique finder for current addresses, opening hours and the most convenient location for your Paris itinerary.
