Arpège – Alain-Passard plant based fine dining

Three Michelin Stars • Plant-Focused Haute Cuisine • Alain Passard’s Gardens

L’Arpège – Alain Passard’s Celebration of Vegetables, Fruits & Flowers

Led by Chef Alain Passard, L’Arpège is one of Paris’s most influential three-Michelin-starred restaurants. Since July 2025, its cuisine has been devoted entirely to the plant world, placing vegetables, fruits, herbs, edible flowers and honey at the heart of each composition. Much of the produce arrives from the chef’s own gardens, allowing season, colour, texture and the natural character of each ingredient to shape the experience.

TLC Paris tip: Come with an open mind rather than expecting conventional vegetarian cooking. Alain Passard treats vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers with the precision normally associated with classical haute cuisine. Lunch can offer a gentler introduction before a walk along Rue de Varenne towards the Musée Rodin, Les Invalides or Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
