At the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, fashion, craftsmanship and design meet across centuries. From extraordinary couture creations to contemporary photography and experimental objects, the museum reveals the creative imagination behind the things we wear, use and treasure.

Four designers — Nina Fradet, Tony Jouanneau, Felipe Ribon and Marion Vidal — explore the creative possibilities opened by their residencies at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto. Their works bring Japanese craft traditions, material experimentation and contemporary French design into conversation with the museum's collections.
Beyond the exhibition galleries lies a quieter world. Garments are documented, protected, studied and preserved for future generations. These unseen spaces are essential to the museum's work — transforming fragile creations into a lasting record of fashion history.
